Taking a different perspective.

Arts and culture offer new ways of seeing the world. Through visits to museums, galleries, exhibitions, cultural sites and public spaces, students encounter ideas, stories and perspectives through direct experience.

Students observe, discuss and interpret what they encounter, considering how different people might understand and respond to the same artwork, object, place or event. Along the way, they develop curiosity, critical thinking and cultural awareness.

Students then share their own responses through discussion, storytelling, creative writing, drawing, performance and other creative activities. Each experience can be designed around a particular exhibition, collection, theme or curriculum area, ensuring learning is relevant and meaningful for every group.
