Real people. Real experiences. Real stories. Through interviews, discussion, research and creative exploration, students investigate the voices, perspectives and issues that matter to them.

Using the stories, experiences and source material they uncover as a starting point, students create performances, spoken word, writing and other creative responses. Drawing on documentary theatre, verbatim theatre and creative storytelling approaches, projects can explore contemporary issues, local communities or life within the school itself.

Workshops can be adapted to different ages, themes and learning goals, ensuring all students can participate, contribute and share their perspectives. Longer projects and workshop series can help schools document and share the people, experiences and ideas that shape their community.
